The World Newah organization (WNO) concerns the current false allegation by Annapurna Post newspaper on November 20, 2015, publishing that the renowned Human Right Veteran and Patron of WNO, Dr. Padma Ratna Tuladhar, had demanded a complete blockade from India during such a difficult time in Nepal. The organization further expressed its amazement on the editor’s message published on November 21, 2015 that the allegation was mistakenly posted in lieu of someone’s accusation without pleading any apology to Dr.Tuladhar. Besides, there is also no acknowledgement of “someone” in the message, which indicates the newspaper’s premeditation to damage Dr. Tuladhar’s credibility and character. The organization is against such an unethical attitude from a responsible newspaper. Therefore, we would like to request the editor to plead his apology for the grave mistake to Dr. Tuladhar, and not to repeat such type of erroneous news in future issues of the newspaper.
