HAPPY 7th WORLD NEWAH DAY!

30th March 2024.

Around the world, on the 7th World Newah Day which falls on the last Saturday of March every year, twenty-seven different Newah organizations organised various events that proudly marked the cultural heritage of the Newar community. These included traditional feasts, songs and dances, processions, games, academic presentations, and preservation projects, which covered diverse aspects of our heritage. Newar communities living as far apart as 20,000 Km celebrated the common occasion of 7th World Newah Day.
