On 20th March 2024, World Newah Organization handed scholarships to students in Nepalbhasa at the Central Department of Nepalbhasa, Tribhuvan University. The scholarships were coordinated by WNO Executive Members Mr. Deepesh Shakya (Ireland) and Mr. Kumar Napit (Germany).

The names of the students who received the scholarships as per the department’s recommendation were Sabina Shrestha, Rammaya Joshi, Ramita Maharjan Awale, Rina Shrestha, Rabina Maharjan, Reshmi Maharjan and Mija Man Shakya.

Fund for the scholarship was contributed by WNO Executive Member Mr. Birendra Nakarmi (UAE), Mr. Kumar Napit (Germany), Mr. Ram Kaji Gosai (Germany), Mr. Som Shrestha (Germany), Mr. Dinesh Pradhan (Germany), and Mr. Manoj Shrestha (Germany).

WNO Vice-President Mr. Shakya Suren, WNO Secretary Ms. Lalima Shrestha and WNO Media Ambassador Mr. Bigen Tuladhar coordinated the event locally and graced the scholarship event.
