CONSTITUTIONAL  PREAMBLE

We, the Newah people, residing all over the world and in our homeland Nepal, are committed to basic democratic principles in order to contribute to uplifting our community, our culture, and our country Nepal. Nepal is a multi-national, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural country. Our heritage and identity are of paramount importance to the cultural diversity of Nepal. The Newah people have demonstrated fully and unequivocally throughout history a unique and invaluable contribution that defines the very name and destiny of modern Nepal. We are determined to be a part of the future history of Nepal and of the global community. The Newah people shall lend support to alleviate human suffering and social injustice in Nepal and strive to eradicate socio-political and economic inequality in any shape or form in Nepal. In true democratic spirit, the World Newah Organization shall work to promote freedom, socio-economic justice, equitable prosperity and cultural and intellectual development in the arts and sciences of the Newah people and of all peoples of Nepal.
