WNO support for LokSahitya Parishad (Nepal Folklore Society)

World Newah Organization takes pride in leading the worldwide fundraise totalling NPR 1,989000 (1 million 9 hundred 89 thousand) in support of the construction of Lok Sahitya Parishad building in Patan. The funds handover was made in two installments of 1, 405,000 (first installment) and 5,84,000 (2nd installment).

Towards this goal, a sum total of NPR 1,55,000 was collected from Newah organizations from around the world kindly contributed in the fundraise.

In appreciation of the above contribution, WNO President Mr. Season Shrestha was felicitated by Nepalese Folklore Society on Tuesday 11th May 2022, through Nepal’s culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi.
